2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting
平成26（2014）年11月27日（木曜）、「東京オリンピック・パラリンピック調整会議」に出席しました。
会議では、組織委員会からは、11月18日、19日に行われた「IOCプロジェクトレビュー」について報告があり、知事は会場計画の見直しについて説明しました。また、今後、パラリンピック体制を強化していくこと等が提案され、知事も「パラリンピックが成功して初めてオリンピックが成功したと言える」と発言し、今後の調整会議で具体的に検討していくことになりました。
調整会議には、知事の他、森一般財団法人東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会会長、下村文部科学大臣兼オリンピック・パラリンピック担当大臣、竹田公益財団法人日本オリンピック委員会会長、及び鳥原公益財団法人日本障がい者スポーツ協会日本パラリンピック委員会委員長が出席しました。
On Thursday, November 27, the governor attended the 2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting.
At the meeting, the Tokyo Organizing Committee presented a report on the IOC Project Review, which was conducted on November 18 and 19. In addition, the governor provided an explanation of the progress made on the venue plan review. A proposal to strengthen the structure of the Paralympics was also made, with the governor stating that the 2020 Games could only be called a success if the Paralympics were also a success. A concrete review of this matter will now begin.
