米国ロサンゼルス市長が知事を訪問
The Mayor of Los Angeles visits the governor
平成26（2014）年11月26日（水曜）、都庁を訪れたエリック・ガルセッティ米国ロサンゼルス市長と面会しました。
知事は、「ロサンゼルスは非常に日系人が多く、日系の企業もたくさん進出していますので、ロサンゼルスと日本の関係は非常に良いと思います。ロサンゼルスオリンピックのことは非常に良く覚えていますが、あれを機会にオリンピックのプレゼンテーションの仕方が変わったと感じています。是非、東京とロサンゼルスの関係を緊密にしたいと思います」と話しました。
On Wednesday, November 26, the Honorable Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
At the meeting, the governor said, “Since there are many people of Japanese descent in Los Angeles, as well as many Japanese companies that have expanded into the United States doing business there, Los Angeles and Japan have a very good relationship. I remember the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics very well, and I believe the 1984 Games prompted a change in the overall presentation of the Olympic Games. I definitely want Tokyo to have a close relationship with Los Angeles.”
