駐日シンガポール大使が知事を訪問
Ambassador of Singapore to Japan visits the governor
平成26（2014）年10月21日（火）、都庁を訪れたチン・シアットユーン駐日シンガポール大使と面会しました。
知事は、「シンガポールと東京は非常に良い関係を築いておりますので、今後とも、いろいろな面で協力をしたいと思っています。今、東京は国際金融センター構想を打ち出していますけれども、シンガポールはそういう面でも非常に進んでいますので、是非、国際金融面での協力について話し合いたいと思います。2020年に東京オリンピック・パラリンピックが開かれますので、是非多くのシンガポールのお客様が来られることを期待しています」と話しました。
On Tuesday, October 21, H.E. Mr. Chin Siat Yoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
Speaking at the meeting, the governor said, “As Singapore and Tokyo have built a very good relationship, I hope that we continue to cooperate in a variety of areas. Tokyo is currently developing its own global financial center concept, and Singapore is also well advanced in this area. As such, I certainly hope that we can discuss cooperation in the field of international finance. Tokyo will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020. I definitely look forward to welcoming many visitors from Singapore.”
