イスラエル国エルサレム市長及び駐日イスラエル国大使一行が知事を訪問
Mayor of Jerusalem and the Israeli ambassador visit the governor
平成26（2014）年6月3日（火曜）、都庁を訪れたニール・バラカット イスラエル国エルサレム市長及びルツ・カハノフ 駐日イスラエル国大使一行と面会しました。
知事は、「2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックを歴史上最高のオリンピックにしたい。是非イスラエルからも沢山のお客様がいらしていただくようにお願いしたい。エルサレムも東京も大都市特有の問題が沢山あると思うので、都市間の交流もやっていきたい」と話しました。
On Tuesday, June 3, the Honorable Nir Barkat, Mayor of Jerusalem, and H.E. Ms. Ruth Kahanoff, Ambassador of Israel to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.
During the meeting, the governor said, “I want to make the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games the best ever. I hope that many people from Israel will visit our city during the event. As I think Jerusalem and Tokyo both have problems unique to large cities, I wish to promote exchange between our two cities.”
