駐日ロシア連邦大使が知事を訪問
Russia’s ambassador visits the governor
平成26（2014）年2月20日（木曜）、舛添知事は、都庁を訪れたエヴゲーニー・ウラジミロヴィッチ・アファナシエフ駐日ロシア連邦大使と面会しました。
知事は、「明日ソチに出発します。いろいろな面で貴国にお世話になります。2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックを史上最高のものにしたいと思っています。ソチ五輪の経験から是非学びたいと思います。特に、治安、テロ対策は非常に重要なので、御経験からいろいろと教えて下さい」と話しました。
On Thursday, February 20, H. E. Mr. Evgeny Vladimirovich Afanasiev, Ambassador of Russia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe. The governor said, “I will leave for Sochi tomorrow. I look very forward to my trip. I wish to make the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics the best ever, and hope to learn from the experiences of the Sochi Winter Games. I would be very grateful if you could inform me about the measures that were taken, especially for the very important matters of public safety and counterterrorism.”
